CONTEST RULES & ELIGIBILITY

• Open to all artists 18 years or older.
• Art must be original work and not have been used in other posters, promotions or events.
• $10 per entry submission, with a maximum of 3 entries per person.
•  Subject must be Christmas and include one or more elves and the current year (2010). (See examples of prior year designs at the bottom of the page.)
• Maximum size of 10” wide x 13” high with a maximum or four (4) colors not including the t-shirt color. Colors may NOT be blended or shaded, please use spot colors only.  If submitting computer generated graphics, please use color separation layers.  Entries should contain no metallic or florescent colors.
• Graphic may be created on either a white background or on a color background representative of the color of t-shirt you would like used.
• Mail CD or DVD (jpeg, tiff, or pdf at 300ppi minimum and approximately 6” x 8”), completed entry form, and entry fee (make check payable to Elf Louise) to Elf Louise Christmas Project, Attn: T-Shirt Contest, PO Box 39295, San Antonio, TX 78218. Ensure your name is written on the CD with permanent marker.
• The Elf Louise Christmas Project will retain ownership and full copyright of the winning design and its reproductions. The Christmas Project may adapt elements of the design for use on other official Elf Louise 2010 use. The Christmas Project will retain ownership of the original artwork and may reproduce, in whole or part, the artwork with no additional consideration to the artist. Any use or adaptation of the artwork is within the sole discretion of the Elf Louise Christmas Project.
• We reserve the right to make adjustments to the winning design for size, image enhancement or clarification for t-shirt printing requirements.  
• The winner will receive 2 t-shirts featuring their design, recognition on the Elf Louise web site and in a press release and $250 payable in U.S. dollars.
• Winners will be notified no later than July 21, 2010.
